He has also designed over 1 million square feet of commercial/office buildings; a partial list that includes such projects as First Interstate Plaza and Columbia Square; both in downtown San Diego. He has also designed numerous commercial facilities for Wells Fargo Bank, Union Bank, and San Diego National Bank.
Mr. Matalon has worked on the medical front with such respected clients as Sharp Healthcare, UCSD Healthcare, and Operation Samahan.
Mr. Matalon's experience with public entities includes the City of San Diego, the City of Thousand Oaks, the City of Salinas, the City of Escondido the City of Victorville, as well as the County of San Diego.
Educational clients include San Diego State University, the San Diego Community College District, Grossmont Union High School District, and the Cajon Valley Union School District.
He has also been involved in the design of such specialized, one-of-a-kind projects, such as the new U.S Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, and The Salvation Army’s 575 acre Divisional Camp and Conference Center in Ramona.
